//NLP Presuppositions
What are NLP Presuppositions?
NLP presuppositions are simply very convenient assumptions we wish to have about the world we live in. NLP uses these presuppositions to gain better results.
NLP Presuppositions
* Respect other people’s map / model of the world
* Evaluate behaviour and change in terms of ecology and context
* Resistance in a client is a sign of lack of rapport
* People are not their behaviours
* Everyone does the best they can with the resources they have available
* Calibrate on behaviour
* The map is not the territory
* You are in charge of your mind and therefore your results
* People have all the resources they need to succeed and to achieve their desired outcomes
* There is only feedback
* The meaning of communication is the response it gets
* The system / person with the most flexible behaviour will control the system (The Law of Requisite Variety)
* All procedures should increase choice
* All procedures should increase wholeness
